Artist Statement
This piece, The Aetheric Loom, is an experiment in discovering a new sense. It is a departure from conventional art and interactive design, where the viewer is given controls to manipulate a pre-defined experience. Instead, this is a boundless, three-dimensional space of potential, a living canvas of pure "aether," waiting to be woven.
The traditional sliders and buttons are gone, replaced by a direct, visceral connection. Your cursor is not a tool but a point of gravitational influence. By simply moving it, you become a silent conductor, causing thousands of particles of light and sound to bend, shift, and respond. The color of each particle is not arbitrary but is a direct manifestation of its position in the swirling field, and the soft, responsive audio is the song of that unfolding geometry.
This work challenges the notion of a separate observer and creator. You are not simply watching; you are an essential force in the constant, beautiful dance of form and vibration. It is a mirror of the universe itself—a reminder that the most profound patterns emerge when we engage with the fabric of reality directly.
